"Through the years showing paints, I won 2 Youth World Champions, 1 Reserve World Champion title. 1996 was my first year as an amateur and I have won 8 World &Res World Champion titles in Hunter Under Saddle & Western Pleasure. This year, our last baby by HF Skipa Tizzy debuted at the Tom Powers with Kenny Lakins (trainer) and they won the NSBA Champion title in 3 Yr Old Color Western Pleasure. After that, I showed her to a 3rd place finish in the Amateur Western Pleasure my first time showing her.
"I have been lucky enough to work with many of the great trainers in the industry such as Steve Sauder, Kenny Lakins, Randy Wilson, & Brian Isbell. The horses is a passion that still drives me each day and it really is something I love. I wouldn't think of taking them off of Hyaluronex.
"They always say find what you love to do in life and you will be a lucky person! I consider myself lucky!"
Benny Guitron became aware of HYALURONEX® in the summer of 2005 through two longtime horsemen friends, Tracy Willis and Dan Lemon. He says he reluctantly tried it ("Those supplements don’t work!" was his first reply at their suggestion that it would help his program) but, after seeing the results, quickly incorporated it into his feeding program. He quickly saw benefits in a variety of horses in his care and has been using and recommending Hyaluronex ever since.
While he has successfully shown young horses, it’s the older horse that is the backbone of Benny's business, and Hyaluronex has proved a valuable asset in maintaining his horses in top condition. He observes that so many young trainers want the vet to provide them with quick fixes for sore horses, and are disappointed when a therapy doesn’t work in 48 hours. Daily maintenance with Hyaluronex has allowed Benny's older horses to remain sound every day, and his customers to see less cost in maintaining their horses. Benny mentions as an illustration the horse he is taking to the AQHA Select World this year: he is 17 years old, doing his job well, and maintained on daily Hyaluronex.
Because he competes at the highest Grand Prix levels, Ian Millar has long appreciated the importance of attention to detail in both care and presentation of his horses. Ian’s longtime assistant Lori Green holds a degree in biochemistry and provides impeccable care for each of Ian’s horses. She is always seeking cutting-edge technologies to help support the condition and health of her charges.
Lori and Ian became aware of the potential benefit of daily supplementation with hyaluronan for their horses as a means of maintaining peak comfort and flexibility, and began looking for an effective product to use. After getting disappointing results from a competitor's product, they were introduced to HYALURONEX® and immediately began seeing their horses benefit from daily dosing -- which they continue to this day, with well-documented success!
